Client Relationship Specialist - Personal Lines
(April 2026)
Salary $55,000 - $65,000 per year
An insurance license is required to be obtained for this position but don’t let that scare you from applying. We will work with someone who is the right fit to obtain their license and train them. Prior insurance knowledge is helpful but not a requirement.
Salary is commensurate with experience in the insurance industry and/or holding an active CT insurance license. There is the potential to earn commission in this role in addition to salary (no sales or cold calls are required) plus bonus. Paid holidays plus 4 weeks of paid time off.
Our company offers a hybrid work option (up to 8 days per month remote) available once a person is fully trained. We also understand and appreciate that people have a life outside of the office. We acknowledge this means that you might need to schedule your day outside of traditional business hours sometimes or step away during the day for doctor appointments, kid or pet needs, and prioritizing your health. The dress code is very relaxed so long as a person looks presentable when in front of clients or company representatives. We do have pets (usually dogs, the occasional cat) in the office at various times, if this is a concern for allergies or fear of dogs.
Responsibilities
Working with the existing clients to:
-Helping to answer questions about existing policies
-Researching changing client needs within the carriers to ensure they are properly covered
-Gathering information and documents to submit to carriers or maintain in CRM
-Managing upcoming client renewals by communicating any changes to the client and presenting alternatives
-Offering additional products to existing clients and educating them on coverages
